
Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his respects to Shibu Soren, the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and founder of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Soren passed away on Monday at the age of 81. Modi visited the hospital to offer condolences to the family, including CM Hemant Soren. Modi noted Soren’s life-long commitment to the welfare of tribal communities and the underprivileged. He expressed his deep sorrow on social media, recognizing Soren as a grassroots leader. Modi also mentioned that Soren was admitted in the hospital for more than a month for kidney-related issues. During his meeting with Hemant Soren, the Prime Minister offered support to the family. Modi highlighted Soren’s commitment to empowering the marginalized.
