Strong, dusty winds and heatwave conditions are forecast for tomorrow and will persist on June 11th, followed by a hot and humid day on June 12th. The 13th of June is expected to bring thunderstorms and rain.
Uttar Pradesh is experiencing extreme heat. The weather department has issued a heatwave alert for the southern and western regions from today until June 11th. Areas like Agra, Braj, and Bundelkhand are likely to face heatwaves accompanied by dust storms. Rain is expected to start on June 11th.
Bihar is set to experience hot weather until Tuesday. The maximum temperature could rise by two to four degrees Celsius in the coming two days. The weather is expected to change from the late hours of June 10th, with the possibility of thunderstorms and rain. Jharkhand is also under the grip of intense heat and humidity, but light rain with strong thunder is predicted in some districts, including Ranchi, this afternoon.
Rajasthan is witnessing a spike in temperatures following the end of the western disturbance, shattering previous heat records. Most districts are experiencing heatwave-like conditions again. The weather department doesn’t forecast any rain or thunderstorms in Rajasthan for the coming week. Punjab and Haryana are also feeling the heat.
The hilly regions do not have any immediate rain forecasts. However, rain is expected in the hilly areas between June 11th and 13th. During this time, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and parts of Jammu and Kashmir might witness heavy rainfall. Wind speeds could reach 40 to 50 kmph, which might bring some relief.
