A devastating auto-rickshaw accident in Giridih’s Bengabad police station area has resulted in one death and left four people severely injured, including a child. The incident unfolded on Thursday morning near the Dudhi Tand toll plaza along the Giridih-Madhupur main road.
The auto was reportedly transporting a family from Kashitand to Budhai for a mundan ritual. Investigators believe the driver lost steering control near the toll plaza, causing the vehicle to overturn. Ramchandra Pasi, 58, from Machhuar, was declared dead at the scene. The injured passengers, all in serious condition, were rushed to the hospital with the aid of local residents. Law enforcement officials have reached the location and are conducting a thorough inquiry into the incident.
