Tragedy struck in Koderma today when a school bus, filled with students heading for an educational trip, crashed into a ravine in the Koderma Valley. Approximately eighteen students were injured in the harrowing incident. The bus, belonging to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, was transporting 75 eleventh-grade students to Rajgir when the accident occurred near the ‘Nauwan Mile’ marker. Initial reports suggest the bus collided with a truck it was attempting to overtake, causing it to veer off the road and fall into a ditch. The driver also sustained injuries. The accident was reported to the authorities by locals who witnessed the crash. Emergency responders, including ambulance services, were dispatched rapidly to the location.
