The remarkable journey of Jitu Ram Bedia, a para-archer from Jharkhand, has led to his selection for the Indian team competing at the Asia Youth Para Archery Championship. Bedia, associated with the Birsa Munda Archery Academy in Silli, received a high-quality compound bow and best wishes from Sudesh Mahto, the academy’s patron and a former Deputy Chief Minister. This recognition highlights the academy’s role in nurturing talent. Chanchal Bhattacharya noted that the academy identified Bedia’s potential early on, providing him with the necessary training and support to reach international standards.
