Domkal Police in Murshidabad district, West Bengal, acting on a specific tip, raided the residence of Siraj Mandal in Ghodamara Nichintapur village. The raid led to the discovery of a substantial quantity of illegal arms and counterfeit money. The recovered items included four country-made pistols, a rifle, 312 live bullets, 12 spent cartridges, and fake currency valued at Rs 40,000. Police had been on the lookout for Siraj Mandal. After the arrest, the police are questioning the suspect to determine if others were involved. An FIR has been lodged at the Domkal police station, and the accused has been taken into custody for a period of 14 days, following a court appearance, for further investigation.
