
Ranchi is preparing for the upcoming visit of President Droupadi Murmu, with the district administration working to ensure all arrangements are in place. A review meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, was held at the Collectorate Auditorium on Saturday.
The meeting addressed key areas such as security, traffic management, hospitality, and venue preparations for the President’s two-day visit. Deputy Commissioner Bhajantri issued clear instructions to all departments, emphasizing the need for a well-organized and dignified visit. Discussions covered sanitation, health services, water supply, toilet facilities, parking, fire safety, and route security, with instructions for timely completion of tasks. The police administration was instructed to remain vigilant.
Officials were urged to carry out their duties with a high degree of responsibility and sensitivity. The Deputy Commissioner also stated that there would be regular reviews of the preparations and close monitoring of progress.
Senior officers including Senior Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Sinha, Additional District Magistrate Rajeshwarnath Alok, Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer Utkarsh Kumar, Traffic Superintendent of Police Kailash Karmali, Civil Surgeon Dr. Prabhat Kumar, District Public Relations Officer Urvashi Pandey, and other officials were present.
