A devastating event has occurred in Ranchi, Jharkhand, where a woman and her two children were discovered dead in their apartment, an apparent suicide. The incident took place on Saturday night in the Nageshwar Enclave apartment, located in the Choria Toli area of Latma Road, under the Jagannathpur police station. The police have taken custody of the bodies and sent them for a post-mortem. The deceased have been identified as Sanyukta Singh and her two children, both of whom were minors. Sanyukta Singh was separated from her husband, Brijesh Singh. There had been a long-standing dispute between the couple, and the matter was also before the courts. While Brijesh Singh was living in Bihar, Sanyukta resided with her children in the Ranchi apartment. Local residents reported that the couple faced not only domestic problems but also economic difficulties. It is believed that these circumstances led Sanyukta to take her own life and that of her children. The discovery occurred when Brijesh Singh arrived with provisions for his children. Unable to open the door, he sought help from neighbors and contacted the police. Upon their arrival, the police broke down the door and found the heartbreaking scene. The bodies of Sanyukta Singh and her children were found hanging from the ceiling in the bedroom. The police immediately secured the scene and called for a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team to conduct an investigation. The FSL team gathered evidence from the scene, and the bodies were sent for post-mortem examination. Police have stated that the preliminary investigation suggests the deaths were a result of suicide, driven by domestic issues and financial struggles. The incident has caused a profound sense of mourning and silence in the area. The local community is deeply shaken by this tragic event. The police are currently questioning Brijesh Singh and his family to ascertain the definitive cause of the apparent suicides.
