The Deputy Commissioner directed that all preparations be completed promptly, emphasizing the importance of raising public awareness about drug abuse through the event. The meeting covered promotional strategies using both digital and traditional methods, along with the arrangements for the route, security, and volunteers. The involvement of students from schools and colleges was also highlighted. Besides the marathon, preparations for the Rat Road Flyover inauguration, the Jagannath Rath Yatra, the Eastern Regional Council meeting, and the upcoming Sawan festival were also discussed, including assessment of the damage caused by heavy rainfall in the district, and progress of various schemes.
