Authorities in Ranchi are investigating a major theft at a mobile shop where 28 iPhones were stolen, totaling an estimated value of 30 lakh rupees. The incident took place on Harmu Road, within the Kotwali police station area. The shop owner, Rahul Kumar Shukla, reported the theft to the police after discovering the break-in.
The thieves reportedly gained entry by cutting the shop’s shutter. Upon entering, they stole 28 mobile phones, including various iPhone models. Police are now examining CCTV footage and employing other technical methods to track down the six individuals involved in the theft. This incident is not the first of its kind in Ranchi; a jewelry store was robbed some months ago in the Ormanjhi police station area.
