Rakesh Ranjan, the new SSP of Ranchi, met with Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the CM’s residential office in Ranchi on Tuesday. City SP Paras Rana and Traffic SP Rakesh Singh also attended the meeting. This was a courtesy visit by the SSP. Before his current posting, Rakesh Ranjan held the position of SP in Chaibasa. The government had reassigned several IPS officers on September 19th, leading to Rakesh Ranjan’s appointment as Ranchi’s new SSP.
