
In a hearing concerning a PIL related to RIMS, the Jharkhand High Court has sought clarifications from the hospital and the state government. The court, represented by Chief Justice MS Ramachandra Rao and Justice Rajesh Shankar, examined the matter, which pertains to the improvement of patient care and facilities at RIMS. The court has instructed the state government, RIMS, and the Jharkhand Building Corporation to submit their responses. The court raised questions about the use of allocated funds, including the acquisition of medical equipment and the related tendering procedures. Furthermore, the Additional Medical Superintendent of RIMS has requested the department to implement the revised daily duty allowance for the home guards, increasing it to ₹1088 per day, subject to approval.
