
From June 9th to 15th, RIMS Hospital in Ranchi will dedicate a week to celebrate National Surgeon Week, organized by the Surgery Department. This special week will feature various activities, including health awareness initiatives, blood donation drives, tree planting, a walkathon, recognition of doctors, and educational sessions. Dr. D.K. Sinha, Head of the Surgery Department, shared the week’s program details during a press conference. The aim is to educate the public about health and acknowledge the contributions of surgeons. The event will see participation from many senior doctors from Ranchi and Jharkhand, in addition to junior doctors. The planned events include a walkathon and street plays on June 9th, a workshop with the Radiology Department on June 10th, a blood donation camp on June 11th, the honoring of senior doctors on June 12th, tree planting and doctors’ health check-ups on June 13th, a quiz competition for postgraduate students on June 14th, and the National Surgeon Day and closing ceremony on June 15th.
