The desire to become a trending star and achieve viral fame on social media has pushed people to create unusual video reels, even at the risk of their own safety. A recent event in the Koderma district of Jharkhand illustrates this trend. A group of young men went to a forest in the Chandwara police station area to film social media reels. As they were filming, one individual climbed a tree. Unexpectedly, a swarm of bees attacked the group.
Four youths were targeted by the bee attack. The incident caused chaos. The injured were immediately admitted to a private nursing home for medical attention. Information suggests that six people were making reel videos in the forest when the attack happened. Two managed to escape, but the remaining four were hampered by their equipment and unable to flee. They were subsequently admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
