A father-son relationship has been marred by violence in Ranchi, Jharkhand, where a man was killed by his own son following a disagreement regarding alcohol consumption. The incident took place in the Bhelwatoli village under the Sikidiri police station. Grabel Tirkey was attacked by his son, Daud Tirkey, after the former told the latter to stop drinking. The intoxicated son used an axe to inflict serious injuries on his father, leading to his death at RIMS hospital.
