
Marking a significant milestone, Jharkhand celebrated its 25th Foundation Day and the 150th birth anniversary of the revered Bhagwan Birsa Munda. In Chaibasa, a special ceremony was organized at the bus stand, featuring a tribute at the statue of Birsa Munda, attended by government officials and the public.
Key dignitaries present included the state’s Minister for Revenue, Land Reforms, and Transport, Deepak Birua, along with Deputy Commissioner Chandan Kumar and Superintendent of Police Amit Renu. The event was further graced by the presence of Zila Parishad President Lakshmi Soren, Deputy Development Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Meena, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Praveen Kerketta, among other senior officials and representatives from various social organizations who paid their respects.
Minister Birua spoke about the pride and responsibility that comes with Jharkhand completing 25 years, a phase he equated with youthfulness. He emphasized that the state government is steadfastly working towards achieving the goal of making every citizen of Jharkhand self-reliant. This initiative, he noted, is crucial for the state’s overall growth and prosperity.
Concluding the ceremony, the minister and accompanying officials extended their best wishes to the people of Jharkhand on the occasion of the state’s 25th anniversary.
