A shocking incident of violence unfolded in Ranchi, Jharkhand, where traffic police officers were brutally attacked by auto rickshaw drivers. The incident occurred at the Kathel Mor area of the Nagri police station in broad daylight. A video of the assault has gone viral, capturing the violent confrontation between the officers and the auto drivers. The footage shows auto drivers relentlessly beating the traffic police personnel. Initial reports suggest that the auto drivers used stones during the attack. One of the officers, identified as Rohit Ganjhu, sustained serious injuries, including a head injury, and was admitted to RIMS hospital in Ranchi for treatment. Following the attack, the auto drivers fled the scene, and the police have launched a search operation. The Ranchi Traffic SP has assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible. The Nagri police station in-charge is currently investigating the case. The video shows auto drivers relentlessly assaulting the traffic officers, while the officers are seen trying to defend themselves with batons. In the video, the auto drivers are seen attacking one officer with a stone after the officers used batons, causing the officer to fall.
