Two truck accidents took place at different locations within the Chutupalu Valley, which is part of the Ranchi-Patna highway, on Tuesday. One truck, transporting corrugated sheet metal, crashed into the highway divider while en route from Ranchi to Ramgarh. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle’s cabin and was rescued after a prolonged effort, being subsequently sent to Sadar Hospital. The second incident involved a truck (HR 47 D 1091) heading from Ranchi, which went out of control and plunged into a ditch. The driver and helper were fortunate to escape without injuries. Police promptly responded to the accidents, providing medical assistance to the injured at Sadar Hospital and clearing the road of the damaged vehicles, thus enabling the resumption of normal traffic conditions.
