
Tragedy struck in the Haldipokhar market area of East Singhbhum district, Jharkhand, when a speeding vehicle hit a group of cows, resulting in the death of three. The accident happened late Tuesday night near the Jharkhand Gramin Bank, within the jurisdiction of the Kowali police station. One cow was severely injured and is receiving treatment from the animal husbandry department. The local community expressed their anger and concern, describing the act as a sign of both negligence and cruelty. They called for strict action against those responsible. Kowali police station in-charge Dhananjay Kumar Paswan promptly arrived at the scene, arranging for the removal of the deceased animals using a JCB machine. The cows were later buried in a nearby vacant area with the help of the locals.
