MLA Sudeep Gudiya has brought the pressing issue of staff scarcity in the health and revenue departments to the forefront of the Jharkhand Assembly’s winter proceedings. Representing the Torpa constituency, Gudiya articulated the challenges faced by his constituents due to the severe lack of doctors and healthcare staff in local government hospitals. This deficiency, he stated, is compromising the health of the populace by preventing access to timely medical attention. The legislator called for an immediate expansion of the medical workforce in all regional government hospitals to bridge this critical gap. In parallel, Gudiya highlighted the extensive shortfall of employees within the revenue department. He explained that this lack of manpower is causing significant delays and complications for individuals seeking to complete various governmental transactions and services. He urged the government to prioritize filling these vacant revenue positions without delay. The MLA underscored the dual urgency of addressing both the healthcare staffing crisis and the revenue department’s employee deficit to ensure citizens receive the services they are entitled to in a timely manner.
