**Heatwave in 17 UP Districts**
Some relief from the extreme heat may be on the horizon in Uttar Pradesh. Light cloud cover is expected in 14 districts today. However, a heatwave is forecast to persist in 17 districts. A yellow alert has been issued for a heatwave in Lalitpur, Jhansi, Jalaun, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Etawah, Kanpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Agra, Hathras, Aligarh, and Mathura. Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Basti, Deoria, Kushinagar, and Maharajganj will see a mix of sunshine and cloud cover. Rain is possible in both eastern and western parts of the state tomorrow, with more rain anticipated on June 13.
**Rain Predicted in North Bihar and Jharkhand**
Bihar is facing severe heat. The meteorological department has issued an orange alert for rain in North Bihar. Rain accompanied by thunderstorms is expected in all 19 districts of North Bihar today. A yellow alert has been issued for South Bihar, indicating humid weather. The weather department has issued a rain warning for the whole of Jharkhand today.
**Heatwave in Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana**
Extreme heat and heatwave conditions are affecting various parts of Rajasthan. On Tuesday, the temperature in many cities surpassed 45 degrees Celsius. The meteorological department does not foresee any relief from the severe heat and heatwave in Rajasthan in the coming days. Haryana and Punjab are also experiencing intense heat. There is no immediate expectation of respite from the heat in these states.
**Mountain Region Weather**
Rain is expected in a few districts of Uttarakhand today, along with strong winds. The meteorological department has issued a yellow alert for certain districts. The heat has become intense in Himachal Pradesh as well. A change in the weather is anticipated from June 13. Thunderstorms and rain are possible in various parts of the state between June 13 and 16.
