The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in four districts of Jharkhand today, specifically Khunti, Gumla, Simdega, and West Singhbhum, leading to a yellow alert. The remaining districts are expected to have clearer weather. Meteorologist Abhishek Anand stated that residents can expect some relief on July 10th and 11th, but the impact of a cyclonic circulation will return from July 12th, potentially bringing more rain. The weakening of the system is attributed to its movement towards northern Chhattisgarh. A low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal is also developing, indicating the possibility of more rain. Khunti recorded the highest rainfall on Tuesday at 18 mm, while Ranchi received 6 mm. Bokaro recorded nearly 2 mm and Jamshedpur 15 mm. Dhanbad experienced the most rainfall in the last 24 hours, with 67 mm. Farmers are advised to ensure proper water drainage in fields before sowing crops. They should sow crops on ridges, excluding paddy, and use pesticides after the rain stops and the sun appears.
