Heavy rainfall is expected in Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Madhya Maharashtra today. Mumbai has been issued an Orange Alert. Heavy rainfall is also expected in Goa. Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Bengal are likely to experience heavy rainfall over the next two days.
**Mountainous and Northeast India Weather Outlook**
Uttarakhand is expected to experience heavy rainfall today. The weather department has issued a Yellow Alert for rain in several districts, including Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, Dehradun, Chamoli, Nainital, and Bageshwar. Himachal Pradesh is also under a heavy rainfall alert today. In Northeast India, heavy rainfall is expected in Arunachal Pradesh today and tomorrow. Light to moderate rainfall is expected in Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, and Mizoram from today through September 21. Assam and Meghalaya are likely to see heavy rainfall. Sikkim may see rainfall until the 18th.
