In West Singhbhum, Jharkhand, security forces continued their offensive against the CPI (Maoist) organization. This recent operation resulted in the destruction of three Naxalite bunkers in the Kolhan-Saranda region. A considerable amount of Naxalite materials was also seized. The operation was based on information indicating that prominent Maoist leaders, such as Misir Besra and others, were planning to carry out disruptive activities in the Saranda and Kolhan areas. On August 6th, the authorities received a tip about hidden materials within the Jarai Kela police station area. A joint team, composed of Chaibasa police, the Cobra 209 Battalion, CRPF, and Jharkhand Jaguar, launched the operation. The security forces successfully located and destroyed three bunkers near Handekuli in the Jarai Kela police station area. The recovered items include wires, batteries, Naxalite uniforms, jungle boots, backpacks, black scarves, steel containers, and other daily necessities. The seized materials are under investigation, and Naxalite activities are under constant surveillance. The joint operation is ongoing with the objective of eradicating any potential hideouts of the Naxals.
