The third National Lok Adalat of 2025, organized by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), saw the resolution of 24,255,036 cases across 29 states and eight union territories. The Lok Adalat addressed both pre-litigation and pending cases, including criminal, financial, and consumer disputes. The total settlement value surpassed ₹7,817.62 crore. This initiative, led by the Chief Justice of India and NALSA’s Executive Chairman, provided a platform for citizens to obtain swift and economical justice. The success of the Lok Adalat highlights the increasing confidence in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and strengthens NALSA’s commitment to bridging the gap between justice and citizens, particularly the marginalized.
