
A technical fault has led to the grounding of an IndiGo flight at Lucknow Airport, affecting passengers en route to Dehradun. The flight, identified as 6E 515, was preparing to depart when the issue arose, necessitating the aircraft’s movement to the taxiway. Airport engineers are actively working to troubleshoot and repair the plane.
The disruption has caused significant problems for passengers, some of whom were traveling to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. The flight had approximately 158 passengers and 6 crew members on board. This marks another instance of a technical fault affecting an IndiGo flight at Lucknow Airport.
Concurrently, a training aircraft in Baramati, Maharashtra, experienced a landing incident due to a technical malfunction. The aircraft’s front landing gear reportedly gave way, leading to the incident. The aircraft was operated by the Red Bird training institute, and the incident occurred around 7:45 am. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries. The BJP Yuva Morcha had previously requested the revocation of Red Bird’s certification.
