A shocking video emerging from the Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in Bengaluru has ignited a firestorm of controversy. The footage clearly shows a prisoner, identified as an ISIS terrorist and rapist, casually using a mobile phone and viewing television. This visual evidence of perceived ‘five-star luxury’ within the jail walls has triggered a wave of public anger and demands for accountability.
The inmate featured in the clip is reportedly Zuhab Hameed Shakeel Manna, who faces charges related to funding the ISIS terror group. The video presents a disturbing image of him with a smartphone, leading to questions about the integrity of the prison’s security system and inmate oversight.
Reacting decisively to the viral incident, Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara announced the suspension of the involved jail officials and assured that appropriate actions are being taken against them. He stated that the government is committed to ensuring jail security and has launched a detailed investigation into the matter. The minister’s statement underscored the seriousness of the breach and the resolve to prevent future occurrences of such security failures.
