Following Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of vote tampering, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis strongly criticized the Congress leader. Gandhi had been raising the issue of vote theft and had hinted at a major revelation, calling it a ‘hydrogen bomb.’ He held a press conference where he presented accusations of fraudulent vote deletions, targeting the Election Commission. Fadnavis countered with accusations of spreading falsehoods, specifically concerning Gandhi’s claims of a significant disclosure. Fadnavis dismissed Gandhi’s claims as empty, describing the anticipated revelation as insignificant. He accused Gandhi of consistently lying and acknowledged his skill in presenting these falsehoods to the national media. Fadnavis stated that Gandhi’s highly publicized claims were completely false. He alleged that Gandhi, without providing evidence, spoke with an air of authority, similar to Joseph Goebbels’ propaganda techniques. Fadnavis claimed that Gandhi’s approach was an insult to the constitution, the judiciary, and the Election Commission. He further argued that Gandhi’s tactics would not succeed in India and that Bihar would remain supportive of Prime Minister Modi.
