
Delhi Police have disrupted a significant cross-border operation involving the smuggling of illegal liquor. Three individuals have been taken into custody following the seizure of 40 cartons of liquor, comprising 2,000 quarters, which were being transported from Haryana into Delhi. The accused, identified as Sunny, Riti alias Ritik, and Ajit, were apprehended in a targeted raid following precise intelligence. A motorcycle used in the illicit trade was also recovered. The Dwarka District Police’s Special Staff, acting on specific leads, meticulously monitored interstate movements and local networks. This action highlights the continuous efforts to curb the influx of illegal alcohol and protect public safety. The arrested smugglers have reportedly confessed to their involvement in supplying the liquor for quick financial gains.
