Authorities have arrested four individuals following the assault of an Indian Army jawan at a toll plaza in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The soldier, identified as Kapil Kavad, was on his way to his posting in Srinagar and was attempting to reach the Delhi airport. The incident occurred at the Bhuni toll plaza after an argument with the toll booth staff. The dispute arose while Kapil and his cousin were stuck in traffic. The staff subsequently attacked the soldier, with a video showing the attack. Police reports indicate that the jawan was assaulted after a disagreement over toll charges. Additional teams are working to apprehend the remaining suspects.
