The Shillong police investigating the Meghalaya honeymoon murder have taken possession of a CCTV DVR from Shilom James’s Indore residence. James, a property dealer, was arrested on June 21st for allegedly assisting in the concealment of evidence. The police believe the DVR contains important information that will help determine the circumstances surrounding Raja Raghuvanshi’s death. James is suspected of helping Sonam, a suspect in the case, hide a box containing jewelry, a laptop, and potentially a weapon. Furthermore, Lokendra Tomar, another suspect, appeared before the Gwalior District court. Simultaneously, the police detained Balvir Ahirwar from Ashoknagar district, who worked as a watchman and carpenter at a flat where Sonam had stayed post-murder, for interrogation.
