
Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated projects worth 13,000 crore rupees in Bihar and flagged off two trains. Speaking to the public, he initiated his speech in Magahi, expressing his dedication to serving the people, and criticizing the RJD. At a rally in Gaya, he began his address with local greetings.
PM Modi revealed a new law targeting corruption that applies to all, from CMs to PMs, necessitating the relinquishment of their positions if bail isn’t secured within 30 days. He stated that those imprisoned would have to leave their posts. He stated that those found to be corrupt would be jailed and would also lose their position. Modi highlighted the focus on providing housing, mentioning the completion of over four million homes for the poor in the last 11 years and the construction of 3.8 million houses in Bihar, with 200,000 in Gaya. He assured the continuation of the housing scheme until every poor person is housed.
He added that this year’s Diwali and Chhath Puja celebrations in Bihar would be more vibrant, and he gave assurance that the housing scheme would continue until all the poor have homes. He referred to Gaya Ji as a sacred place, where Lord Buddha found enlightenment. Modi commended the decision to rename the city as Gaya Ji and praised the double-engine government’s efforts for its development.
Modi emphasized that all pledges made on the soil of Bihar have been fulfilled. He mentioned his commitment to eliminating terrorism from the region after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam and asserted that the world is witnessing the fulfillment of that pledge. He then praised ‘Operation Sindoor’ for its impact on India’s defence policy, ensuring that terrorists would not escape punishment.
