Tragedy struck in Hyderabad as CPI leader Chandu Rathod was murdered during his morning exercise. The attack, carried out by unidentified individuals, happened at Shalivahana Nagar Park in Malakpet at approximately 7:30 AM. The assailants reportedly used a car and initially threw chilli powder before firing shots. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are scrutinizing CCTV footage and have opened a murder case, examining all angles. Rathod, originally from Nagarkurnool district, was known for his association with the CPI. Investigations are ongoing, exploring potential motives, including property disputes and personal enmities. The authorities have taken the body to Osmania General Hospital for the post-mortem.
