GWALIOR: A 34-year-old girl used to be booked for allegedly throwing acid at the spouse of her former live-in spouse in Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, a police professional mentioned on Friday.
The incident came about on Thursday night time in Janakganj house right here, Lashkar Town Superintendent of Police Shiyaz KM informed PTI.
The sufferer has sustained critical wounds and has been rushed to Delhi for complex remedy, he mentioned.
“In response to the sufferer’s husband’s criticism, we now have booked the girl for throwing acid. In the meantime, the accused has claimed the sufferer’s 36-year-old husband raped her whilst they had been in a live-in dating since 2018,” he mentioned.
The acid incident and the rape allegation are being probed, the CSP mentioned.
