Prime Minister Narendra Modi has observed that the youth of Bihar are reaping the rewards of the significant positive changes occurring within the state. During a digital address to BJP workers, he drew a stark contrast between the present day and a past rife with Naxalite-fueled violence and disruption. He noted that Bihar’s youth, particularly those in the 18-25 age bracket, have been fortunate enough not to witness the period when the state faced severe challenges, such as derailed trains, widespread looting, and a pervasive sense of insecurity.
“Today, a better environment has been created in Bihar,” the Prime Minister declared, asserting that its youth are the primary beneficiaries. He looked forward to a period of heightened celebration, envisioning a ‘double Diwali.’ The initial celebration was tied to the implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST), with a subsequent one planned for October 20th. He further anticipated a celebratory mood on November 14th, following the anticipated victory of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the crucial role of women in achieving this success.
PM Modi also highlighted the significance of the ‘Mera Booth, Sabse Mazboot’ (My Booth, Strongest) program, portraying it as the fundamental element of the BJP’s success at the grassroots. He elaborated on the concept that a strong party is built upon the foundation of numerous strong individual polling booths. Additionally, he conveyed his happiness regarding the successful rollout of the Mahila Rozgar Yojana, a government initiative aimed at empowering women. He confirmed that 1.20 crore women in Bihar have each received a sum of Rs 10,000, demonstrating the scheme’s widespread impact on women’s economic empowerment.
