A private bus driver in Maharashtra’s Sindhudurg district was publicly confronted and slapped by a woman after allegedly sending her obscene content. The woman’s phone number was reportedly obtained from a ticket booking record from a travel company. This woman regularly used the bus service for travel between Kankavli and Mumbai. On the evening of September 16th, the woman went to the booking office near the Kankavli bus stand with another woman. She showed the driver the messages she had received and then proceeded to slap him in front of onlookers. The incident was captured on video, which went viral, showing the woman’s reaction and her questions about the driver’s actions, emphasizing her shock and asking for an explanation for the content sent to her.
