The 11th International Day of Yoga was marked with widespread celebrations across India. In Sambalpur, Odisha, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan led a yoga session at the Maa Samaleswari Temple Complex riverfront. The event saw the involvement of numerous officials, local leaders, and citizens. Pradhan emphasized yoga’s significance as a comprehensive approach to health and wellness and acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to globalize yoga. Mass yoga sessions were also held at Delhi University, Bodh Gaya’s Mahabodhi Temple, Mysuru Palace, and Somanathapura Temple premises, organized by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with various institutions and local administrations.
