
The former Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik, currently serving as the Leader of the Opposition, was admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar on Sunday evening. The hospitalization was prompted by dehydration. According to reports, the leader of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is in stable condition and is undergoing further medical evaluation. Doctors overseeing his care have noted a positive response to the treatment. Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling, along with Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan and Bhubaneswar MLA Babu Singh, visited the hospital to assess his well-being. They confirmed his stable health status. The medical team has been instructed to provide Patnaik with the best possible care. The Health Minister stated that the government is prepared to assist in any way necessary. Doctors are coordinating closely with the health department. Naveen Patnaik is currently under observation in the ICU, and the medical team is providing updates on his progress.
