Security forces successfully concluded Operation Mahadev, resulting in the elimination of three foreign terrorists who were responsible for the Pahalgam killings. The operation was carried out at the Mahadev Peak. The eliminated terrorists included Suleiman, Yasir, and Abu Hamza Afghani, all linked to TRF, a proxy group of LeT. Suleiman, a Pakistani national and former SSG commando, was identified as the main planner. This operation concluded after a 95-day long manhunt by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army’s 15 Corps. The operation’s success reflects the unwavering resolve of the security forces to eliminate terrorism and maintain peace. The eliminated terrorists were also involved in the Sonmarg z-Morh tunnel attack and the attack on army personnel in Botapathri Gulmarg.
