E-KYC is a mandatory requirement for receiving the installment and can be completed through OTP, biometric verification, or face authentication. Farmers can check their installment status on the website. The eligibility criteria include being an Indian citizen, owning cultivable land, and being a small or marginal farmer. Those receiving a pension of ₹10,000 or more, paying income tax, or possessing institutional land are not eligible. New farmers can apply through the official website.
