The release of the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been delayed, with an anticipated release in July 2025. This scheme provides ₹2,000 every four months to eligible farmers. The previous installment was disbursed in February 2025. To avoid any potential issues with receiving the upcoming installment, farmers should ensure they have completed all the necessary steps. These steps include completing e-KYC, ensuring Aadhaar and bank accounts are linked, verifying the accuracy of bank details, updating land records, confirming their mobile number is active and correct, and checking that their name appears on the beneficiary list. Address-related errors could result in ineligibility. Farmers can update their address information on the PM-Kisan website, available at https://pmkisan.gov.in, or seek assistance at a Common Service Center. E-KYC is a mandatory requirement for receiving the installment and can be completed through OTP, biometric verification, or face authentication. Farmers can check their installment status on the website. The eligibility criteria include being an Indian citizen, owning cultivable land, and being a small or marginal farmer. Those receiving a pension of ₹10,000 or more, paying income tax, or possessing institutional land are not eligible. New farmers can apply through the official website.
