
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Purnia, Bihar, to inaugurate the Purnia Airport and launch development projects worth ₹36,000 crore. The airport inauguration will provide enhanced air connectivity to Purnia and nearby districts. The National Makhana Board, established to support the significant makhana production in Bihar, will also be launched. The Prime Minister will address a public rally at the SSB Camp and inaugurate various projects, including the Jogbani-Patna Vande Bharat Express train. The Prime Minister will arrive at Purnia Airport at 2:20 PM and will inaugurate the terminal building. Afterward, he will proceed to address a public gathering and inaugurate various local schemes and projects. Over the last 11 years, the Prime Minister has provided Bihar with development projects worth nearly ₹1.50 lakh crore. Security has been intensified in Purnia in advance of the visit. The opposition leader, Tejashwi Yadav, recently inspected the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Purnia.
