
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Karnataka today, starting his day by flagging off three Vande Bharat Express trains at Bengaluru’s KSR Railway Station at approximately 11 AM. Following this, he will inaugurate the Yellow Line of the Bangalore Metro and experience the metro by traveling from RV Road (Ragigudda) to the Electronic City metro station. Later in the day, at around 1 PM, the Prime Minister will be involved in the inauguration and laying of foundation stones for urban connectivity projects in Bengaluru, followed by an address to a public gathering. Parallel to this, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will attend the Sugar Industry Symposium and National Efficiency Awards 2022-23 in New Delhi, organized by the National Cooperative Sugar Factories Federation (NFCSF) Limited. Amit Shah is scheduled to award excellence in eight cooperative sectors during the ceremony. In UttarKashi, the rescue efforts in the disaster-hit Dharali continue for a sixth day, with over 1000 people evacuated via air transport.
