
Police in Madhya Pradesh have arrested an 18-year-old male in connection with the alleged rape of a four-year-old girl. The incident occurred in a village near the Uchehra police station in Satna. The accused reportedly enticed the girl with a snack before leading her to a secluded area near railway tracks, where the assault allegedly took place. After the assault, local women found the girl and alerted her family. The police have registered a case and are investigating, while the girl is hospitalized and in stable condition. In a separate development, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has taken action regarding reports of a gang rape involving a 20-year-old college student on a beach in Odisha. The NHRC has requested detailed reports from the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police in Odisha.
