As Bihar gears up for the upcoming assembly elections, the political atmosphere is charged with tension, and the internal affairs of the Lalu Yadav family have become a focal point. Tej Pratap Yadav, previously ousted from both the family and the party by his father, Lalu Yadav, had made several claims, including a promise to unveil the identities of individuals he deemed as ‘traitors’. However, he has now seemingly abandoned these plans.
Tej Pratap Yadav had earlier taken to the social media platform X to declare his intention to expose those he considered as ‘traitors’ within the family. He planned to reveal the names of five people he accused of conspiring against him and ruining his political prospects.
Despite his earlier pronouncements, he has now chosen to remain silent on the issue. He has not provided any revelations, despite issuing an ultimatum. When questioned about the lack of follow-through, he declined to comment further, stating his intention to travel to Begusarai.
In his X post, Tej Pratap had alleged that five family members had conspired to damage his political career. He asserted he would expose their identities and actions to the public.
Since being distanced from his family and party, Tej Pratap has exhibited a rebellious attitude. He has already decided to contest the next assembly elections from Mahua. He has also launched his own political party, ‘Jan Shakti Janata Dal,’ and has filed an application with the Election Commission for its registration.
The move by RJD chief Lalu Yadav to remove Tej Pratap from both the party and the family followed his social media posts, reportedly due to the surfacing of photographs of Tej Pratap Yadav with a woman named Anushka Yadav.
