
Amidst a crisis brought on by floods and heavy rainfall in Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal has requested help from various entities. He is appealing to all political parties, state governments, and the central government to assist Punjab in this difficult time. He stated that AAP’s Members of Parliament and Members of the Legislative Assembly are contributing a month’s salary to the Punjab Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund. He also mentioned that AAP workers are working on the ground to help those affected.
In a video message, Kejriwal emphasized Punjab’s historical importance as a protector of India. He highlighted Punjab’s role in defending the nation and its contributions. He recognized Punjab’s historical resilience in times of difficulty. He added that Punjab has always stood strong in the face of adversity.
Kejriwal reminisced on the state’s role in the Green Revolution and providing food for the entire nation. He expressed his concern over the widespread damage, displacement, and crop losses caused by the floods. He praised the acts of solidarity among Punjabis who are helping each other. The AAP leader called for cooperation by setting aside political differences and focusing on humanity. He urged all citizens to support Punjab. He also announced that AAP members across the country are donating a month’s salary to the Punjab Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
