Rahul Gandhi is launching the ‘Vote Adhikar Yatra’ in Bihar on August 17th, with the primary focus on addressing concerns surrounding vote manipulation. The yatra, which will span across 24 districts and 16 days, is a protest against the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists in the state. The journey will begin from Sasaram. The yatra aims to expose the alleged assault on people’s right to vote through the special intensive revision of the voters list in Bihar. The yatra will end with a rally in Patna on September 1st. The itinerary includes stops in various districts like Aurangabad, Gaya, and Muzaffarpur. The yatra is a strategic move to highlight the unity of the ‘India’ bloc before the state elections. The opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav and other alliance partners are expected to join Rahul Gandhi in Sasaram.
