A landmark agreement was signed on Monday between the State Bank of India and Indian Railways. The event, held at Rail Bhavan in New Delhi, saw the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the presence of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The deal promises enhanced benefits for railway employees, including improved accident insurance as part of their salary packages.
The MoU was signed with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Railway Board Chairman Satish Kumar, and SBI Chairman C.S. Setty in attendance, signifying a strong commitment to employee well-being.
