Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh has expressed his distress over the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, a recent groom from Indore, during his honeymoon in Meghalaya. Initial reports suggest the involvement of his wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi, who is accused of hiring contract killers. CM Yadav termed the incident as a painful reminder of the need for thoroughness in marriage arrangements. He also pointed out the necessity of parents to consider the safety of their children when they plan to travel far from home, especially immediately after their marriage. Four suspects have been arrested and will soon be transferred to Shillong. Sonam Raghuvanshi, the primary suspect, was found in Bihar and is currently under police supervision.
