The five individuals implicated in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, including Sonam Raghuvanshi, have been remanded to eight days of police custody by the Shillong District Court. The SIT chief, Herbert Pyniaid Kharkongor, SP (City), East Khasi Hills, confirmed the court’s decision. After the court proceedings, the accused, comprising Sonam Raghuvanshi, Raj Singh Kushwaha, Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, and Anand, were brought back to the Shillong Sadar Police Station. The police are actively investigating the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, whose body was found in a gorge near Sohra, close to Cherrapunji in Meghalaya, on June 2.
