
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh spent Vijaya Dashami with Indian soldiers in Bhuj, Gujarat, participating in a ‘Bada Khana’ and addressing the troops. Singh focused on the rapidly changing global environment and the emerging challenges faced by the armed forces.
He pointed out the quick obsolescence of modern technologies, emphasizing the need for constant adaptation. He highlighted the rise of new threats like terrorism, cyber warfare, and drone warfare, which demand a multi-dimensional approach. He stressed that these challenges require mental strength, current knowledge, and the ability to adapt swiftly, alongside traditional military capabilities.
Singh extended Vijaya Dashami greetings, calling it a celebration of good over evil, and recognized the courage of the soldiers in Bhuj. He encouraged soldiers to engage in continuous training, embrace new technologies, and maintain readiness for all situations.
He emphasized that victory in war comes from discipline, morale, and constant preparedness. The minister highlighted the importance of adopting new technologies and incorporating training into the daily routine to prepare for any circumstance. He stated that the army that consistently learns and adapts to new challenges will remain invincible in the modern world.
He assured the soldiers that the government is committed to their welfare, modernization, honoring veterans, and protecting soldiers’ families. He reiterated that the well-being of the soldiers is of the utmost importance.
Singh declared that the vision of a strong, self-reliant, and developed India rests on the shoulders of the soldiers, whose dedication and sacrifice make it possible. He called the 21st century India’s era and said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is rapidly advancing toward self-reliance in the defense sector. He expressed his belief that with the commitment of the armed forces, India will soon have one of the best armies in the world.
